Four Steps To Creating Change

In the programs that I studied with Mary Morrissey, she had us do an experiment. She had us read four chapters (4, 7, 11, 14) of “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles every day for 90 days. If we skipped a day, we had to start over. Read for 90 consecutive days. It created a deeper knowing and understanding of the material.

If you don’t know him, I invite you to look up Wallace Wattles. He wrote some amazing books in the early 1900s. He said that thinking is the hardest work in the world, that’s why most people don’t do it.

After doing this experiment, I distilled these four chapters down to four concepts.

Think – Thank – Act – Be

What are these concepts are all about?

Vibrant Living Tip

Think. It all starts with our thinking. Our thoughts create our reality. Everything was first a thought in someone’s mind. The clothes we are wearing. The chair we are sitting on. The house we are living in. It was all a thought in someone’s mind first. What are your thoughts creating? How can you change them to support who you want to be, do, have?

Thank. Gratitude is how we stay in alignment the mind of God, infinite intelligence. It’s easy to be grateful when things are going great. Be grateful in all things. What are areas of your life that you have not, up until now, been grateful for? Be grateful for the good and not so good and really feel the gratitude.

Act. Thinking alone will not create the results you want. You must act with certainty. Act in the present moment. Ask yourself – what can I do today to lead me in the direction of my vision? Then take that step.

Be. Be a person of increase. Look for continuous advancement for yourself and others. Where can you show someone an impression of increase? What does that mean to you?

Vibrant Living Take Away

Using these four steps can change you thinking and change your life. That’s were enlightenment begins. How will you use these four steps today?

Until next time...
