You may have heard it said – if you want to know what you are thinking, look at your life.
Your life is a direct reflection of your thoughts.
I know that. If you think about it, you know that.
There are times when I hear this and a part of me doesn’t want it to be true.
When are those times?
When circumstances are not what I want.
You may be thinking – WHAAAT, how can that be? You’re a life coach. Life must be peachy all day everyday!
Yea, I wish that was true.
We all have those... whatever. That’s what makes us human.
My mentor, Mary Morrissey, has been doing this for almost 50 years. And even she has her moments. As she says – I’ve learned to fall asleep less often and wake-up sooner.

Vibrant Living Tip
The first step is to notice how you are feeling.
Do I feel happy, vibrant?
Do I feel sad, tired, blah?
The sad, tired, blah is what we want to wake-up from/change. Next, notice what you have been thinking.
Do they support where I want to go? My vision of the life I would love?
There are a number of steps you can take next.
- If you are experienced at reframing your thoughts. Do that.
- Read inspirational quotes.
- Call a trusted friend. A partner in believing.
- Take a walk.
- Get a coach… hint, hint… 😀
Do something to shift your thinking to more positive, happy.

Periodically, stop and notice. Interrupt your thoughts, if you need to. Focus on your vision. Ask, what step can I take to support my vision. Take that step. Notice some more…
