Choose Happiness

“Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, and I’m going to be happy in it.” — Groucho Marx

I will be speaking at the Happiness for Your Health Expo on 4/29. The title of my talk is “Happy, Health and Whole!” I am going to give you a quick overview of what I will be talking about. Hopefully, to entice you to attend… 😀

Everyone knows about our 5 senses (see, hear, touch, smell and taste). You also have 6 mental faculties that are just as important, if not more important that your senses.

Imagination is our ability to build big beautiful pictures for what we want most. We used imagination really well when we were a kid. We were always imagining things. Including our future. We were always being asked what we wanted to be when we grew up. We might have even had imaginary friends. We want to remember that everything is created twice. First in the mind and then in reality.

Everything is energy. Intuition is our ability to pick-up energy and create a YES field. The currency of the universe is ideas. Just one idea can change your life.

Will is our ability to give ourselves a command and do it. It is our ability to focus. The ability to hold that which we want in our mind to the exclusion of all outside distraction. Will is to the mind is like a magnifying glass to the sun. The focus causes the power to expand exponentially.

We want to harness the successes that we have had in the past to fuel us in the direction of our Vision. The memory of those successes will help keep us in a creative vibration.

The gift of reason, correctly applied, is what will enable you to begin seeing – really seeing – the amazing opportunities all around you, and to begin seizing those opportunities, so that you can create the extraordinary life of your dreams.

Perception is the ability to see reality beyond how it appears to be. The ability to look at a problem and see it for what it really is, an opportunity to grow.

We can use these 6 mental faculties to support our vision of a life we would love or to reinforce a perceived problem. We want to use them to become happy, healthy and whole.
