How To Stay Positive
I read the Daily Word everyday before I get out of bed and then meditate on the affirmation.
It always seems perfect for what is going on in my life.
The above quote was just the pick me up I needed to hear with all the news about COVID-19 new cases around the country.
It goes on to say –
“It is easy to feel overwhelmed by what seems like a never-ending stream of distressing news. When people around me are caught up in fearful, anxious, or agitated states, I remain determined to not be swept up in negativity. I choose instead to take a stand and focus on the positive.”
Some days are easier than others to stay positive.

Here are some things you can do today to shift to be more positive –
- Gratitude – Yep, you guessed it. My go to for all situations. Find at least one thing to be grateful for and really feel grateful. Even if it’s just that you got out a bed.
- Positive People – Surround yourself with positive people. Call someone you know who is always upbeat.
- Read Something Inspirational – There are a lot of places to get inspiration.
- Watch a Funny Movie – Watch your favorite “laugh until you cry” movie.
Ah, doesn’t that feel better?
